We would like to acknowledge the Dharawal people, the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging, and recognise the deep connection to land, sea, and culture that has been passed down for over 65,000 years.

This land always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land. We also extend our respect and recognition to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across this country, acknowledging their ongoing connection to their lands and waters. We honour the strength, resilience, and rich cultural heritage that continues to thrive today.

As SIS continues to grow, so does our commitment to supporting and celebrating First Nations communities. We hope to use our platform to amplify Indigenous voices, encourage greater cultural understanding and share the stories, history and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As SIS evolves, we hope to create meaningful opportunities to give back, collaborate and support initiatives that make a positive impact within Indigenous communities.
